IEEE-HKN was founded in 1904 to recognize and encourage excellence in the electrical and electronics engineering profession. Today, IEEE-HKN has over 265 chapters in 29 countries around the world. In India, IEEE-HKN has over 4 chapters at some of the most prestigious engineering colleges. The Nu Eta Chapter of Sri Sai Ram Engineering College chapter was founded in 29.09.2023 and is one of the newest chapters in the country. However, the chapter has already made a significant impact on the college community and is poised to become a leading IEEE-HKN chapter in India. The Sri Sai Ram Engineering College IEEE-HKN chapter has chosen the name Nu Eta, which stands for "new age."
