Nucleus The Centre of Science is a premier institute devoted to Science, now performing its academic activities at Palakkad. It traces its origin back to a small coaching centre in 2005 at Ottapalam which functions at its present state. Today, the Institute ranks as a premier institution dedicated to research oriented higher education in Basic Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology), Applied Sciences, Engineering & Technology and Medical Education. Nucleus School of Science, a subsidiary of Nucleus The Centre of Science, is running the UFIP (Unique Full-time Integrated Plus 2) Program at Palakkad, the only one Plus 2 School of its kind where the learning happens by considering and applying the modern concepts of MI (Multiple Intelligence). The Plus 1 and Plus 2 students in Science, Commerce and Humanities streams are enjoying the in depth learning process in the respective subjects and focusing their Plus 2 board exams as well as all the National level entrance examinations without any stress/fear factor. UFIP is the only available integrated Plus 2 School of its kind as the name indicates.
