This slow collection is created and crafted by me, Jony van Hees. Born in Korea, I was adopted and grew up in the Netherlands. Based in Amsterdam, I worked as a film and commercial producer for 20 years.
A need for change inspired me to go traveling. Exploring, surfing, and learning the craft of making leather goods, I spent a year and a half in places like Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, and Portugal, ending my trip to Korea to embrace my birth family.
Discovering my roots, the journey opened up a new chapter in life. Taking the b and the y from my original Korean name Bo Yoon, nude.by… was born.
Coming full circle and returning to Amsterdam after finding love, I resettled in the city. Continuing my story at a less faster pace, exploring slow living in all its aspects.
