NudgeRx

NudgeRx is a health care services company focused on filling the gaps in post-discharge follow-up care and improving patient adherence to treatment plans by providing patients and their designated family/friend caregivers with daily, interactive, recovery support for up to 90 days following their hospital discharge. NudgeRx services are sold to health insurance companies who will include NudgeRx’s hospital discharge support as part of their plan member’s coverage. Approximately 20% of patients leaving the hospital experience an unplanned readmission within 30 days of discharge. Nationwide, unplanned readmissions are estimated to cost over $56B annually, of which $39B is judged to be preventable. NudgeRx believes that it can significantly reduce these costs by improving patient adherence to discharge plans and by identifying potential problems before they become acute.
