Founded in 2006, Nuseed Nutritional is dedicated to delivering sustainable plant-based oils for human health and animal nutrition. A wholly own subsidiary of Nufarm, we leverage over 100 years of agricultural expertise. We partner with growers to open new markets for agricultural products, scientific researchers to validate the safety and efficacy of our novel oils and meal, and end use customers to supply unique ingredients that improve industry sustainability efforts. Nuseed is working tirelessly to bring new products to market, including: Aquaterra, the world’s first land-based source of long chain omega-3 fatty acids. Aquaterra is an advanced omega-3 oil that supports sustainable aquaculture industry growth, healthier oceans, and nourishes people without demanding additional farmlands or adding pressure to marine resources. Nutriterra, the world’s first plant-based source of total omega-3 nutrition, including DHA+EPA and ALA. Until now, DHA+EPA was found exclusively in marine sources, mostly fish and algae. But our ocean cannot provide enough of this nutrient to meet human nutritional needs without depleting wild fish populations. By developing a canola-based source of omega-3 oil, Nutriterra fills the gap between how much omega-3 is needed and how little the ocean produces. Aquaterra and Nutriterra are traceable from soil to oil, produced under the identity preserved standards outlined by Excellence through Stewardship®. Nuseed Nutritional is proud to be the first biotech oil certified by Friend of the Sea® for reducing pressure on marine resources.
