NUM Study Network (NUM SN)

The NUM Study Network is the new research infrastructure of the Network University Medicine (#NUM) and is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (#BMBF). 𝗡𝗨𝗠 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘆 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 – 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 The #NUMStudyNetwork builds on the successful infrastructures and experiences from the National Pandemic Cohort Netzwork (#NAPKON) and the NUM Clinical Epidemiology and Study Platform (#NUKLEUS), uniting experts, clinics, and research institutions into a high-performance network. Our goal is to reduce administrative barriers and, through standardized processes, centralized support, and innovative digital solutions, make clinical and clinical-epidemiological studies in Germany more efficient. 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝗔𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀: 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵: We promote Germany as a prime study location by uniting university medicine, specialized networks, and other stakeholders while actively advancing international study projects. 𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀: By standardizing communication channels, processes, and screening instruments, we reduce processing times and minimize bureaucratic hurdles. 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘆 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝘀: Through projects such as the Staphylococcus aureus Network Adaptive Platform Trial (SNAP), we deliver practice-relevant research outcomes that directly impact patient care. Our vision is to foster forward-looking, high-quality, and internationally competitive clinical research—leading to more innovative treatment approaches and improved medical care.
