The Nurse Practitioner Entrepreneur Program, powered by Duke Health and sponsored by Johnson & Johnson is a one-year professional development program that equips NPs with the leadership, business, and financial skills needed to start their own healthcare enterprises. The focus is on providing primary and behavioral health services in resource-limited settings, aiming to improve health equity through accessible, community-centered, and culturally conscious care. By the end of the program, participants will have developed a comprehensive, well-vetted NP-led business plan and taken the initial steps to turn their entrepreneurial vision into reality, with guidance from experienced NP business, industry, and academic leaders.
We invite NPs passionate about innovation, entrepreneurship, and health equity, particularly those from or serving underrepresented minority groups and vulnerable populations, to apply. The program is free, with all key expenses generously covered by Johnson & Johnson.
