NURZAHRA

NurZahra is one of the Indonesia's brightest emerging Moslem labels. Just three years after its public launch in 2010, NurZahra's simple yet sophisticated and modern design attracts Moslem fashion lovers across the globe. Derived from Arabic words, 'Nur' means light and 'Zahra' means luminous, NurZahra aspired to be the lighthouse, which spread luminous light across the globe. The word 'Zahra' is also taken from daughter of Prophet Mohammed, Fatimah Zahra, who's being inspiration for many. Hence the name NurZahra envision to be style-leader and inspiration. The brand features vast arrays of items, mostly providing basic products for those wearing hijab, but not exclusive to. By expanding its market outreach to the non-Hijab community, NurZahra aspired to promote modesty in ladies wear by providing comfortable and versatile fashion pieces. To date, NurZahra successfully launched two signature collections. The first-born collection titled 'Heritage Indigo Batik' provided a solid platform for the label. In last year's Jakarta Fashion Festival, NurZahra launched 'Resort 2012', a collection of customized indigo and batik material, which verify its consistency in elegance style and sophistication. NurZahra launched its latest collection, 'Folk Solitude' at Jakarta Fashion Festival 2014. This new collection line tries to redefine Moslem fashion wear by exploring the peasant's life of Eastern European countryside and villages in its styling.
