Nuclear Safety eXcellence (NuSafeX) is both a company and an organization. As a company, we provide tools and support for industries based on machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI), starting with the civil nuclear industry. As an organization, we are involved in the fundamental reflections and societal/ethical issues raised by the rapid development and deployment of AI-based technologies, and in particular generative AI. We have developed a Natural Language Processing (NLP)-based platform for analyzing, processing and validating documentation essential to industries requiring very high levels of quality, reliability, safety and security. The civil nuclear industry has relied heavily on technical and regulatory documentation since its inception. Document Intelligence uses the latest advances in ML/IA and NLP to dramatically speed up and increase the reliability of any manual document analysis, whether scientific, technical or regulatory. Information extracted from documents can be validated and reconciled with any already certified information source. Every "decision" taken by our platform is documented and explained, and only a human makes a final decision. The documentation processed by our tools can then be validated and used as a reference for all future processes, or for the analysis of new documents. Of course, we also offer AI-only (non-NLP) solutions for processing any data, with applications such as notifications, predictive maintenance and process optimization.
