The Medical Grand Challenge (MGC) is a student‐led medical innovation program started by the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (NUS). It aims to encourage students across various universities and faculties in Singapore to come together and explore creative solutions to unmet healthcare needs,
MGC is a year-long competition culminating in a Grand Finale Night in August/September of the same year, where teams are evaluated based on market strategy, creativity, design quality and healthcare impact by an esteemed panel of judges. Since it was started in 2017, MGC has seen more than 50 teams vying for the top prizes and showcasing their unique healthcare innovations.
