NUSTAG is a student-led automotive society at College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, NUST. The society actively engages in bringing about innovations in the automotive sector in the fields of design, manufacturing and research. It's latest developments revolve around increasing energy efficiency in the conventional engine car and constructing a a self-driving Battery Electric Vehicle. The student society has built four custom cars and has voraciously competed in Shell Eco-Marathon, Asia for the past 10 years. It has also acquired multiple awards at Shell Eco-Marathon and stands as the best gasoline urban concept team in the South-East Asian region. The society is also an active advocate for the protection of the environment and use of clean energy and engages in social campaigns for the cause.
