Nutra Canada was acquired in may 2016 by Diana Food and has been integrated and renamed Diana Food Canada Inc, part of Symrise AG.
Founded in Quebec in 2008, Nutra Canada was specialized in producing fruit, vegetable, and medicinal plant extracts made from health-giving organic molecules.
In collaboration with Canada’s National Research Council (NRC), Université Laval’s Institute of Nutrition and Functional Foods (INAF), and private partners, Nutra Canada has developed an innovative method to produce concentrated and standardized extracts in powder form.
Nutra Canada could also act as a contract manufacturer for extraction or spray-drying for other companies having developed a process that is adaptable to various raw materials.

Fondée en 2008, Nutra Canada est une entreprise québécoise spécialisée dans la fabrication d'extraits de petits fruits, légumes et plantes médicinales par extraction des molécules biologiques montrant un intérêt quant à leurs propriétés pour le maintien d'une bonne santé.
Le procédé d'extraction novateur, qui a été développé par Nutra Canada en collaboration avec le Conseil National de Recherche du Canada (CNRC), l'Institut sur la nutrition et les aliments fonctionnels (INAF) de l'Université Laval (Québec) et des partenaires privés, permet de concentrer et de standardiser le contenu des différentes molécules en provenance des différentes espèces végétales pour être vendu par la suite sous forme de poudre.
Nutra Canada peut aussi agir comme sous-contractant pour d'autres compagnies pour de l'extraction moléculaire ou du séchage par atomisation ayant développé un procédé adaptable à plusieures matières premières différentes.
