Nepali Women in Science (NWiS)

Nepali Women in Science (NWiS) is an initiative dedicated to introducing Nepali female researchers in pure science to a broader Nepalese and global audience through various social media platforms. A huge part of Nepalese population is unaware of Nepali women scientists working and actively contributing to different fields of science in Nepal and abroad. NWiS aims to bridge this gap by offering a glimpse into their educational and research journeys, celebrating their achievements, and showcasing their ongoing work. Through personal stories and academic milestones, NWiS features Nepali women engaged in scientific research, whether as students or professionals, highlighting their dedication, and accomplishments. If we are able to inspire even a single young girl to get into Science, this initiative shall be considered a successful one.
