Our vision is to become a thriving, growing nexus of impactful commercially focused research, consulting, commercial services and innovating companies from the NWU. To enable this vison, we will be an enabling driving cog in the wheel of the NWU’s interaction with society, delivering: Growth in value creating directed research and consulting; Growth in commercial services and training; and A healthy portfolio of growing spin-out companies. NWU Enterprises was established to: Efficiently and astutely deliver a substantial and growing portfolio of directed research and consulting activities and derivative commercial activities; have a strong market orientation (the place where society gets its goods and services); seek to grow and “move the needle”; act as principal or agent as circumstances require; and work alongside and in partnership with the university.
