Northwest Xcelerator

The Northwest Xcelerator (NWX) is a climate tech business accelerator tailored for entrepreneurs from Black and underserved communities to facilitate climate solutions, socio-economic growth and the development of healthy, safe, smart and sustainable communities in the Portland Metro area. Irreversible climate change is the number one threat to humanity, and environmental racism exacerbates that impact among Black communities making them particularly vulnerable to climate change impacts like more frequent and erratic weather events. Our goal is to increase participation in climate solutions within Black communities through education, engagement, and investment so we can ensure a just and equitable transition to a clean energy economy.
