Since the first acreages were planted in 1989 Ny Vraa has focused on the multifaceted application of the willow. Today where all 250 hectares are planted Ny Vraa has developed into much more than just a willow grower.
Today we offer a total solution covering consultancy, planting, harvest and sales of wood chips as well as development of machinery for growing energy willow.
In our fields you will see approx. 90 different clones, which are harvested and constantly tested to evaluate their potential. Some of the tests are carried out by ourselves – others involve Danish or foreign institutions.
In addition to the above-mentioned activities we are to a great extent selling biofuel and have a shop where you can buy the different willow products, arts and crafts as well as garden furniture.
