New York for Syrian Refugees

New York for Syrian Refugees is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping refugee families resettle in New York's Capital District. Our mission is to assist new families in becoming part of a strong New York community, to nurture their children to excel academically and in life, and to help them all become healthy, productive members of society. We strive to provide the planning and resources required to settle Syrian refugees in dignity. We work to identify existing resources and basic additional resources required to make the settlement of Syrian refugees in the Capital District an exemplary successful experience. Our main goals are to tap into existing resources and create bonds between established community members and new immigrants.
