Nyimine Empowerment CBO (NYECBO) is a Non-Profit and a Community- based organisation initiated to help spearhead community driven development initiatives and enable community groups and be self sustainable.
Gender Equality and Meaningful Youth participation is the heart of our core mandate, we believe that achieving gender equality is not just exercising human rights but also improving socio-economic status in our communities. We not only value community ownership as a right that speaks to
inclusion, but also a key to achieving long-lasting impact. We believe that community action is crucial for the respect, fulfilment and promotion of sexual and reproductive health rights and sustainability. We also believe that empowering young people is key in advancing essential decision making at all
levels and breed a culture that supports young people's participation in decision-making.

Mission: To provide quality comprehensive and integrated health and human rights information to all with special focus on young people and women of reproductive age through community based programming, advocacy and capacity strengthening.

● To promote Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) through advocacy and policy influencing.

● To increase demand for and access to quality SRHR information and services.
● To build self reliant and sustainable communities through equipping them with neccessary tools, skills and knowledge.
