About New York State Science and Technology Law Center
Empire State Development's Division of Science Technology and Innovation (NYSTAR) designated the NYS Science and Technology Law Center (NYS STLC) at Syracuse University College of Law to facilitate NYS's economic development. The NYS STLC leverages the experience and expertise of law faculty and students to assist New York businesses and institutions in delivering new technologies to the marketplace. The NYS STLC helps research institutions, individuals and companies with new technologies, identify potential challenges and devise effective strategies to successfully commercialize their technology. From patent and market landscapes to intellectual property issues, licensing options, and potential funding sources, the NYS STLC has helped scores of companies and institutions bring their technology vision to a commercial reality. If you are an individual, company, or institution in NYS and are focused on bringing a new technology to market, the NYS STLC is here to help you.
