NYU Red Cross

Welcome to the American Red Cross of NYU, revived in the fall of 2023 after many years of inactivity! Our organization was established in the fall of 2005 in response to Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita. We work hand-in-hand with the American Red Cross in Greater New York Chapter, as well as the Red Cross National Collegiate Assembly with the aim to provide Red Cross services to all the local boroughs in NY and those affected by national disasters. These services include training students, staff, and faculty to become disaster relief volunteers, organizing on-campus blood drives, installing free fire and carbon monoxide detectors in homes, certifying members in Adult CPR and AED, and raising awareness/funds for recent national disasters and other various causes.
