NZ Yarn, a subsidiary of Carrfields Primary Wool (CP Wool), has joined forces with hemp processing company Hemp NZ to create a new natural fibres and materials business: New Zealand Natural Fibres (NZNF). New Zealand Natural Fibres is a new company founded by well-established local businesses which share a common passion: the immense potential of natural materials to change the world. Following investment into leading edge plant and equipment, NZNF is now poised to transform some of the most readily-available, versatile and sustainable natural materials in New Zealand – hemp and wool – into alternative products which will help address the environmental challenges facing future generations.
