POM (Principles of Operations Management) Program is designed to give organisations and their employees a solid foundation knowledge in the field of operations management. The program will provide staff with the skills to make informed decisions and the ability to achieve a better level of performance. There are five Modules: Principles of Distribution and Logistics, Principles of Inventory Management, Principles of Operations Planning, Principles of Material Management and Principles of Managing Operations. 2. The CPIM (Certified in Production & Inventory Management) designation is awarded upon successful completion of exams covering the following five modules: Basics of Supply Chain Management (BSC), Master Planning of Resources (MPR), Detailed Scheduling & Planning (DSP), Execution & Control of Operations (ECO) & Strategic Management of Resources (SMR). 3. CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) program is an industry educational and certification program created to meet the rapidly changing needs of the supply chain management field. The CSCP program takes a broad view of the field, extending beyond internal operations to encompass all the steps throughout the supply chain—from the supplier, through the company, to the end consumer—and provides you with the knowledge to effectively manage the integration of these activities to maximize a company's value chain.
