New Zealand Underwriting Agencies Council Inc (NZUAC) has been established to provide a professional and united front to represent the interests of New Zealand’s 40+ underwriting agencies, along with the wider insurance industry.
Inspired by the Underwriting Agencies Council in Australia, the New Zealand Underwriting Agencies Council has been founded as a standalone representative organisation with the purpose of influencing New Zealand-specific legislation on the horizon.
We aim to present a professional, representative industry body that will authentically represent its members’ interests within the wider insurance industry. We’re here to introduce a diversity of markets and products to the New Zealand market and become a viable and respected New Zealand centric organisation.
Our association is still a work in progress, in its startup phase. Until we are fully incorporated, this will act as a reference point for underwriting agencies considering joining our organisation as founding members.
We are committed to the security and advancement of our members and improving the underwriting agents industry in a meaningful way.
