O-Flexx Technologies GmbH

O-Flexx Technologies war ein deutsches Tech-Start-up, das sich zwischen 2006 und 2017 als VC-finanziertes SME der Entwicklung von innovativen thermoelektrischen Generatoren auf Basis von Dünnschichttechnologie gewidmet hat. Das Unternehmen wurde im Jahr 2017 von Mahle übernommen. Dem Team von O-Flexx Technologies ist es als erstem Thermoelektrik-Unternehmen weltweit gelungen, einen dauerfesten Generator zu entwickeln, der sowohl auf der Heiß- wie auch auf der Kaltseite angelötet werden konnte. O-Flexx wurde u.a. 2014 auf dem European Cleantech-Forum der Cleantech Group als "Most Promising Technology" ausgezeichnet. O-Flexx Technologies was a German tech start-up, that worked between 2006 and 2017 as a VC financed SME in the field of thin-film thermo-electric generators. The company wa acquired by Mahle in 2017. The team of O-Flexx Technologies succeeded to build a first cycle-proof TEG that could be soldered both to the cold as well as to the hot junction worldwide. Amongst others, O-Flexx was voted "Most Promising Technology" during the 2014 European Cleantech Forum of the well-known Cleantech Group.
