Owe Water Vietnam

Owe Water is a social enterprise founded in Vietnam in 2019 with a mission to provide high-quality and affordable drinking water to vulnerable urban communities. While Vietnam's economic growth has improved access to basic water services, the quality of drinking water remains a major concern. In Ho Chi Minh City, over 41% of water sources are contaminated with E. Coli, posing serious health risks. This crisis impacts first and foremost vulnerable communities: in suburban areas, 75% of low-income households rely on cheap, low-quality water jugs, unable to afford safer alternatives. Owe Water addresses this urgent need by working with passion to provide clean, affordable water to more and more vulnerable families every day. With a goal of reaching 7 million vulnerable people by 2030, Owe Water aims to become the preferred drinking water provider for vulnerable families in Ho Chi Minh City and beyond, expanding its impact every year. Powered by 1001fontaines, a French NGO, Owe Water benefits from a proven model of providing safe drinking water. 1001fontaines has served over 1 million people across Cambodia, Madagascar, Bangladesh, and Vietnam since 2004, with an ambition to reach 7 million beneficiaries globally by 2030.
