O Z Collaborative

O Z Collaborative is the result of the merging of two well-established Philadelphia firms, BWA architecture + planning and Olaya Studio. Headquartered in West Philadelphia, Richard Olaya, AIA, and Morris Zimmerman, AIA are the combined leaders of the new firm and the talented professionals that work beside them. We are excited for this merger, as culture of the two firms complement each other in a synergistic way. Our core values mean that we will approach every project with a keen interest in contextual design, increased technology and sustainability. We fill our designs with life, passion and excitement through the thoughtful use of light, space and materials. Our design process draws inspiration from the beauty of the natural environment as well as forward-looking technologies. We involve our clients in the design process from conceptualization through occupancy, listening to and learning from their desires, concerns, motivations and goals.
