About OAF Uganda

Outcast Activists Forum (OAF) is a fully functional and registered Organization (Non for profit ), currently with it's headquarters in Kampala, Uganda. The Organization started as a youth platform where like minds (Leaders, Advocates, Change Makers, Activists) convenes ideas together to contribute to the underlying challenges faced in the last mile, resource scarced Communities. Our work started in the slums of Kampala and gained more visibility in the awake of Covid-19 , attracting recognition globally. thus enabled us connect to like minds in U.S. , India, Nigeria, Scotland, UAE. Because in the hardest time, we were strongly impacting communities with our little resources and fundraising strategies. Today our focus remains in Enhancing local philanthropy, Early childhood education, Youth Development Programs and Women Empowerment especially with focus on single mothers. Over the 2 years we have developed and designed fundraising strategies to mobilize resources for these Communities i.e. Juzza Lorry campaign initiative, Covid-19 Resilience and Response and the latest being Synergy in Community which attracts a collective of Organizations and leaders from the United States. We establish on the following basis; 1. Make Grants and donations to Children/Orphans in special needs of play facilities 2. Provide Opportunities and Encouragement for pursuing a regular and Liberal course of education 3. Further Charitable work for Children, Youths, Single mothers throughout the world including work through families and their Communities 4. Discard Moral Decay and generation on premarital sex, drug abuse among children and youth and instead turn them into meaningful citizens 5. Promote an integrated youth and women participation in socio and economic avenues leading to improved livelihoods and sustainable Community development. 6. Contribute to the achievements of the Sustainable development goals agenda 2030. 7. Among others.. OAF vision is to have a resilient, empowered, harmonious and self sustaining Communities where no Individual is Ostracized and, Our Mission is to join efforts with other stakeholders in Inspiring children, women, youth and people with disabilities (PWDs) and Communities through activism for positive social change. Together we "Amplify voices, Enrich Communities" with over 21 volunteers, across the world and we are building platform for all the Advocates to get involved fo a common goal.
