Oahu Metropolitan Planning Organization, commonly called OahuMPO, is responsible for coordinating a comprehensive, cooperative, and continuing (3-C) transportation planning process. By federal regulation the OahuMPO is its Policy Board, which is served by an appointed Executive Director and staff as well as advisory committees. The Policy Board is the decision-maker on the use of federal-aid transportation funds on Oahu. Participating agencies include the City and County of Honolulu, the State of Hawaii, and the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART).
