Oakstone Land & Capital began developing The Retreat brand in 2018 with The Retreat at Deer Lick Falls, a 36-lot tiny home community in Monteagle, TN, that went on to sell out completely within 3 weeks at the start of 2019.
Later in 2019, Oakstone Land & Capital opened up its second community, The Retreat at Water's Edge, with an ambitious 131 lots. After selling over half of the lots on opening day alone, the community nearly sold out before the year's close.
Also in 2019, Oakstone launched a resort-tier property management company, Retreat Vacations, in an effort make vacation rental management easier for tiny home owners. With 10 properties actively renting, and more joining every month, Retreat Vacations is already making a significant mark on the vacation rental space.
Now, in 2020, Oakstone is gearing up to expand The Retreat brand with several new tiny home communities spanning across not only Tennessee, but the Southeast and beyond.
