Oakwood Cooperage is the largest independent cooperage in Scotland, specialising in the trade, repair and rejuvenation of casks for the whisky industry. We pride ourselves on our Scottish heritage and the traditional coopering methods that underpin our ongoing research and development work to improve our products and services. Today, our casks reach well over 100 years of age while adding significant value to the maturation process of spirits.
Founded in 2018 by the award-winning master cooper Brent Bowie, Oakwood serves local and international whisky distilleries from three strategic Scottish sites in Keith (Speyside), Uddingston (Strathclyde), and Airdrie (Strathclyde). In 2022, the Charlois Group invested in Oakwood Cooperage to support and strengthen our expansion plans.
