Oberlin Robotics offers to hands-on projects related to robotics and electronics, especially suitable for prospective Oberlin College Computer Science, Physics majors and 3-2 Engineering students who want to deepen their knowledge of sensors, automation systems, artificial intelligence, and prototyping devices for a range of occasions. Within the organization, members can work on personal projects, study together, help others, and participate in hobby-related teams or college competitions. Oberlin Robotics also aims to teach the basics of robotics, electronics, and drones to students who have yet to gain experience in coding or engineering projects outside the class, such as microcontrollers (Arduino, ESP, Raspberry), sensors, and learn skills such as handling soldering iron, wire management, 3D modeling, and simulating. Students will have access to tools that will allow them to design, build devices, virtual & augmented reality and more.
