Observatorio La Rábida

The Observatory for Climate Change and Sustainable Development for Latin America “La Rábida-Huelva” scales the collective work under the framework of SDGs and climate change action, taking into account the different sectors and actors in Latin America and Europe working on this: Governments, Universities, Companies, Entrepreneurs, Multilateral Institutions, Cities, and Citizens. The institutions that promoted the Observatory represent this multi-sector vision: -SEGIB: the General Secretary for Iberoamerica www.segib.org -The Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation www.exteriores.gob.es -Two sub-national governments: Diputación de Huelva y Junta de Andalucia The Observatory for Climate Change and Sustainable Development for Latin America “La Rábida-Huelva” was born to be a main connector of these actors, within the Latin America Region, connecting it with Europe. The goal of this effort is to cross pollinate initiatives in climate change and to innovate under the SDGs framework with the urgency that is needed.
