About Trace
Our belief is that everyone in the world of sport is missing out on a ton of value. 99% of fans aren't at sporting events. They're no less committed, but their commitment goes totally unmarked. No ticket stub, lanyard or merch to cherish. In parallel, rights-holders and athletes can't easily monetize fans they don't know. And $100B of sports sponsorship money is demanding more measurable ROI. It's our mission to fix this. We need new connective tissue. Trace turns unknown fans into known consumers by giving them the recognition they deserve. It works by giving fans free-to-claim "Traces" - digital memorabilia in the form of generative art, capturing the story of the moment using data from the event. Collecting Traces is the only irrefutable "proof I give a f*ck" and unlocks access to real-time virtual rewards and exclusive merchandize. When fans claim a Trace they own it - it's a digital asset on the blockchain. But it also acts as an "opt-in cookie" creating a direct connection with the rights-holder and sponsor who issued it. Once acquired, we can engage and monetize fans with our gamification, identity and commerce features too. All in concert with an existing loyalty program if one exists. Our model is B2B2C SaaS with a creative service layer. That means we craft the Traces and seasonal campaigns which are delivered through our platform, which we can also operate on behalf of the customer if required.
