OCCAM is creating a safe environment for consumers to do business with reputable, transparent debt relief and financial services providers. This new organization will utilize the OCCAM's Razor philosophy to create this environment. Those of you not familiar with this principle, here is the short definition: Occam's razor (or Ockham's razor) is a principle from philosophy. Suppose there exist two explanations for an occurrence. In this case the simpler one is usually better. Another way of saying it is that the more assumptions you have to make, the more unlikely an explanation is. In this new system, it is our goal to create a post regulation environment in a self-regulation manner. Creating this type of environment will create a cohesion in the industry and generate synergy between the existing verticals. We have put into place a number of protocols to initiate that process including a robust audit and onboarding process designed to identify non-compliant practices and reconcile said challenges, a thorough secondary (and ongoing) client sampling and operational audit process, robust complaint identification and reconciliation procedures, a means assessment system to properly vet client's suitability for the various programs and many more programs that will be rolled out over time to ease the member's acclimation. We are partnering with a number of consumer advocate groups, media alliance partners and creating new cooperation with regulating bodies. Member companies will be overseen by a Board of Advisors, leaders representing their verticals, to collaborate in solving complex, vertical specific discrepancies that may arise. We will utilize a team of cross-vertical delegates to engage regulators and lawmakers on a state and federal level and open meaningful dialogue. We are a completely transparent conduit for consumers seeking help with debt relief matters.
