The company was established in 1992 by John Henderson, the company's sole director. The company operates primarily in Shetland where it has its head office, workshops and stores, and it also has premises and an operational base in Aberdeen. The company has an effective combination of modern workshops, machinery and a highly skilled workforce, with many years of experience. Ocean Kinetics Ltd have recently invested in their new purpose - a £3 million custom-built 3,600m² facility in Lerwick - offering workshop offices and stores providing 3,500 m2 of new workshop, machine workshop, profiling and forming workshop, fabrication workshop, stores and retail store.
