OCEAN Navigation Awareness

OCEAN: Human-Centered Innovation for Maritime Safety OCEAN is a Horizon Europe-funded project developing innovative technologies and solutions to improve navigational safety and reduce the risk of accidents in the maritime industry. The project takes a human-centered approach to innovation. By working closely with end-users to understand their needs and ensure the solutions are easy to use, effective, and socially and environmentally responsible, and is committed to significantly reducing the number of maritime accidents, saving lives, protecting the environment, and reducing economic losses. The OCEAN project is a Horizon Europe-funded project with 13 partners from seven European countries. The project launched in October 2022 and is scheduled to run for three years.
