Ocean State Veterinary Specialists (OSVS) is a state-of-the-art facility providing 24-hour emergency care and specialty services for companion animals. The hospital is staffed by experienced emergency clinicians and specialists in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Radiology, Critical Care, Ophthalmology, Oncology, Neurology, Exotic animal medicine, Clinical pathology, and Cardiology.
The hospital is dedicated to providing the highest level of veterinary care to our patients in an atmosphere of compassion and excellence. OSVS is also an educational center, providing advanced training for veterinarians, veterinary students, and veterinary technicians. Our beautiful facility in Rhode Island services all of Southern New England, including Massachusetts and Connecticut.
Our satellite hospital, Bay State Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Services (BSVESS), is located in Swansea, MA and is also open 24-hours a day for emergency care. The hospital is staffed by internship-trained emergency clinicians who have constant access to the specialists at Ocean State Veterinary Specialists, allowing them the ability to offer the best information and care available. Consultations with board-certified specialists in surgery and internal medicine are available by appointment.
