OceanBridge was conceived out of the recognition that the traditional private equity fund has limited appeal for certain types of investors. We seek to replicate the ethos of a traditional merchant bank. OceanBridge offers an innovative approach to principal investing based on the three pillars of flexibility, transparency and the complete alignment of the investors’ interests with those of the managers.
OceanBridge seeks out unique investment opportunities in which our personal knowledge and experience creates a distinct advantage. We focus on proprietary opportunities and prefer to avoid auction processes. We will generally seek control positions, but our model provides the flexibility to invest more broadly and across the capital structure. We have considerable investment experience partnering with alongside strategic and corporate entities.
OceanBridge is flexible on the size of each investment, we prefer to invest a minimum of €75 million equity in any single investment. Our structure affords us the flexibility to review opportunities in excess of €1 billion.
OceanBridge is not industry-focused or constrained, but we have considerable reach and resources across the Industrial, Consumer & Retail, Media and Technology sectors.
