We are on a mission to help build a more skilled, diverse, and robust clean energy workforce. Launched in 2022, the Oregon Clean Energy Workforce Coalition includes stakeholders from more than 100 different organizations around Oregon. Coalition members are representatives from state, Tribal, and local governments, labor unions, workforce development boards, education and training providers, employers, and community-based organizations. We are working together to build equitable and inclusive career pathways to meet the dynamic needs of industry and the worker. Our work is about more than simply building the clean energy workforce. It’s about creating a movement for a greater, more prosperous Oregon where businesses and workers thrive through collective action, transforming how we create equitable opportunities for those most impacted by climate change. We’re ready to catalyze funding, people, and processes to make monumental changes to reimagine a clean energy workforce in Oregon that is equitable, inclusive, and provides economic prosperity for all Oregonians.
