The band Octave Rockers, a Coimbatore and Chennai-based band, was formed in 2015 by Pranesh and is familiar with genres funk, rock, pop, Indian fusion, and unplugged. We are a collective multi-suite band that includes Pranesh on keys, Jeeva on bass, Sonal on guitar, and Sujay on drums who are the A-suite of the collective featuring Pooja on Vocals and Prince Alphonse on flute. We have done various gigs like corporate events, private gigs, fests, and wedding events in various cities.

Pranesh is a professional contemporary keyboardist/pianist, live performer, music educator, and passionate music producer with over 12 years of learning experience in music and strong roots in western classical, contemporary, and composition skills he founded the band in 2016. He is currently working as a curriculum associate at White Hat Junior, where I design piano curricula for children and adults.
On Bass, Jeeva!
Jeeva is our bassist, who focuses on jazz, blues, and rock. He’s been pursuing music since he was a child. Apart from bass, he plays the keyboard, guitar, sitar, and so on. He’s been seen in the gig scenes for almost from 2014. The artists he inspires in his playing style are Victor Wooten, Marcus Miller, Jaco, Plini, Guthrie Govan, John Petrucci, Stevie Wonder, and Keith Peters. He is currently working as an HR professional.
On Guitar, Sonal!
Sonal plays the guitar for the band. He’s originally a fingerstyle guitarist but also plays other genres like rock and funk. He’s been in the music scene for almost 6 years. He was inspired by the music of Eric Clapton, John Mayer, Tommy Emmanuel, and Sungha Jung. He also loves to listen to bands like AC/DC, Queen, Bon Jovi, The Beatles, etc. He’s currently working as an IT professional.
On Drums, Sujaiy!
Sujaiy is our guy on the drums and percussion. He’s been flirting with music for almost a decade. He’s been a good boy with the genres Rock and Funk and also has a huge crush on prog music.
