Octave Technologies Ltd. is a registered start-up company for R&D in Creative Music Technology solutions. The start-up was co-founded by Dr. Haris Sophocleous (Ph.D. in Electronic Music Composition) with the vision to develop a technology company that will generate portable solutions for both amateur as well as professional musicians. Its aspirations is to offer hardware VST host solutions as an alternative to current multi-effect or effect pedal signal chains that are abundant in the current market, but also to innovate new processes; a new way of thinking regarding a holistic package that will be practical, convenient, future proof and cost effective to the end-user. At the basis of this vision is finally the miniaturization of CPU and motherboard technology, having a major impact regarding what is achievable in portable technologies .
