Octrooicentrum Nederland is de overheidsinstantie die octrooien verleent en registreert voor Nederland. Daarnaast geven we gratis voorlichting aan technisch-innovatieve ondernemers en studenten over intellectuele eigendomsrechten (IE-rechten).
Met IE-rechten kun je anderen verbieden om je uitvinding of creatie te gebruiken zonder jouw toestemming. Zo kun je jouw concurrentiepositie versterken, licenties verlenen aan anderen en de waarde van je onderneming verhogen voor investeerders en kopers.
