A free, open publishing platform. How many times have you Googled yourself? If you haven't, someone else has. In today's digital world, building and maintaining an online voice is more vital than ever. However, this has become increasingly difficult for young adults to achieve, with it either being a costly endeavour, or a fiercely competitive one. To combat this, we created ocular point. As young adults (and in particular students) we spend a large portion of our late-teens and early-adult lives investing a great amount of time and effort into producing academic work. Unfortunately, most of this work is only read once, by a teacher or professor, only for it to never be seen again. We are here to change this. It is in the fundamental nature of academia to make work available and to enhance collaboration. This is how academic progress is made.
