The Greek Guiding Association

Guiding is a globally recognized, autonomous and independent organization dedicated to educational enrichment for children and young adults. It stands as the "World's Biggest Club," and is present in 90 cities in Greece, 150 countries across the globe, and has about 10,000,000 members around the world. Guiding is a meaningful activity that provides children and youth (aged 5 to 17) with valuable opportunities to: - Challenge themselves to new adventures and gain experiences, - Gain confidence in themselves and their abilities, - Develop their own personal value system to provide meaning and guidance to their lives, - Develop critical thinking and decision-making skills, - Make new friends and have fun, - Become more tolerant, fair, kind and honest, - Understand the value of teamwork and build leadership skills, - Care for nature and protect the environment, - Gain insight and knowledge about the world, people, and diverse cultures.
