Organizational Design and Job Evaluation Council

The objectives of this Council are: • Being the voice of the Organization and Classification community across the federal public service; • Being a complementary organization to that of the classification program centre at the Office of the Chief Human Resources Officer of the Treasury Board Secretariat; • Represent the Organization and Classification Community of Practice in activities and initiatives organized by the Human Resources Council; • Supporting and promoting uniform standards of professional competence and behavior among public service Human Resources professionals involved in Organization and Classification advice and services; • Providing a forum within the Organization and Classification community for the regular exchange of information, best practices, trends and developments; • Developing and advocating recommendations aimed at continuous improvement with respect to organization and classification processes, methods, practices and professional competencies; • Developing and maintaining the OCC social network pages for the benefit of the OCC membership. • Establishing and maintaining linkages with other HR communities.
