The word "Odo" derives from the Akan (Twi) Language from the country Ghana located in West Africa, Odo means "love". We not only wanted to bring light to the country's beautiful language but we also wanted to showcase our love for fashion to furthermore bring women beautiful pieces that we know they'll love.
A message from the CEO:
I wanted to create this brand for women to feel bold and seen. For years I’ve always been labelled as “too much” or for better words exuberant and I would always try to dampen my own light to suit the eyes of those around me. Due to the numerous conversations I have shared with other women, I soon realized that I was not the only woman labelled as “too much.” It has dawned on me that women in our society are encouraged to be humble and subservient to the old-age ideals of how a woman ‘should’ behave. I can never be too much I'm just enough I am me. The world has seen nothing yet and I am calling all the women who have felt this way to unleash their inner persona and dare to be seen.
