METU Jazz Society

ODTÜ Jazz Society was founded in 2008 under the Office of Cultural Affairs at the Middle East Technical University. Since its establishment, the society has been offering various training sessions on instrument and vocal techniques, music theory, audio/lightning applications and music business; as well as providing access to resources and an ecosystem for its members interested in learning the performance of jazz music. Additionally, the society aims to enhance the recognition of jazz music by organizing events in METU and Ankara, featuring musicians invited from both domestic and international scenes.
