The Department of Recreation & Wellness offers programs, facilities, and services for ODU students, faculty, and staff, retirees, alumni and the community. Aquatics, Fitness & Wellness, Outdoor Adventure, Intramural Sports, Health Promotion and Sport Clubs programming help to provide members with diverse recreation opportunities. Our Student Recreation & Well-Being Center and University Fitness Center are accessible to all currently enrolled ODU students at no additional charge. In addition to the physical benefits, research states that your participation in recreation has a positive impact on academic performance and social skills.
