ODYSSEE-MURE

The project, supported by the LIFE programme of the European Commission, relies on 2 complementary databases, regularly updated by the network of 37 national teams: - Odyssee contains detailed energy efficiency and CO2 indicators with data on energy consumption, their drivers (e.g. activity indicators) and related CO2 emissions. - Mure contains a description, with their impact evaluation whenever available, of all energy efficiency policies and measures implemented at EU or national level. The objective of the project is to provide a comprehensive monitoring of energy consumption and efficiency trends as well as an evaluation of energy efficiency policy measures by sector for all the 27 EU Member States, Switzerland and Energy Community's contracting parties (Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Georgia, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, and Ukraine). To provide results in an interactive and attractive way to decision makers and actors involved in energy efficiency, the project has developed specific data and policy tools. The originality of the project is to cover all sectors and end-uses with a homogeneous and harmonised approach and provide an overall picture of the trends and measures by sector.
