Odyssey Ensemble

Odyssey Ensemble is the UK’s first professional orchestra dedicated to amplifying real-life stories of refugees, inspiring empathy and respect for their human dignity. We believe that every human being is endowed with inherent worth and dignity. That dignity is not to be stripped away, especially when people flee persecution. Refugee immigration is a polarising and divisive issue in the UK - we believe music can aid in building bridges of understanding and diffusing tension. We harness this potential through a musical collective which shares the real-life stories of migrants through music, poetry, and other art forms.
